REVIEW OF "AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS A MANNEQUIN"

I finally read this review from my recent show at Centre Clark in Le Devoir. I don't normally read press or reviews, but I've started thinking more about writing about my work in french, so I figured I should see how others have done it. It's a very flattering and considerate review of an exhibition that, for me, was a lot of hard work. I greatly appreciated it. You can read it here. For a more minute to minute detailing of my production and exhibition schedule please consider following me on Instagram or Facebook. :-)

VIDEO DOCUMENTATION

I pieced together a few scenes of documentation from my show at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (closed last April). Here I am demonstrating how the viewer decides which famous cinematic mirror is projected into the shattered mirror and which body is projected into the pool of blood. My laundry is projected into the baroque drapery. You can see that here.
You can also see documentation of the same piece at the MASS MOCA.
A scene from Every Time I See Your Picture I Cry is here.
Documentation of Learning to Breath Under water is here.
My new performance, The Thief of Mirrors, (from which the installation was abstracted) will be presented at PICA's TBA festival in September. Details here.
